Come join us for worship on Christmas Eve at 5pm at 901 Charleston St., Lincoln, NE Directions
Urban Neighborhoods
The Gospel compels us to be city-centric. Therefore, we seek not only the conversion of individuals, but also the peace and prosperity of our city. The Gospel prompts us to find ways to address common cultural hopes and aspirations in light of Christ and his saving work.
Redeemer desires that the implications of the Gospel are worked out practically through continual reflection, admonition and modeling in Lincoln. Indifference to the poor and disadvantaged demonstrates a lack of understanding of grace and God’s free salvation.
Redeemer's urban ministries include:
- Redeemer helps distribute food for Food Net every fourth Saturday of the month at 1st and "F" Street.
- A teen parents ministry meets on Tuesdays at the 8th and D building during the school year.
- Redeemer has an after-school program for Park Middle School students on Tuesdays from 3-5 p.m. Contact Adam Odell for more information.
